    I hadn't done any PPing to speak of, and that was enough of a learning curve for me.
    I too hadn't done any PPing and now I absolutely love it! I had never done curves either and still struggle a bit but am getting there. I think also if I was a very beginner beginner :| wouldn't even try this quilt.

    i almost joined the party when you started. and here it is march 2011, and i do believe i am going to start one. as soon as i get the EQ. the choc one just made me want to do the 4.5 in blocks. and hand quilting individ. each block. i stayed up half the nite reading everything i could find about the dear jane. hope none of this thread goes to never, never land.

    i don't think this thread will ever go away, to much activity on it.

    you know that you don't have to have eq to do this quilt. the Dear Jane software is stand alone.

    yes, thank you. i caught that, and just went back to my order and re read that it was a stand alone. my husband says, 450 mega ..... 'holy......'.. i am thru page 19 of the DJ and saw your early posts about your printer. how is your quilt coming along?

    slowly but surely. i am now babysitting for my youngest grandson all day and my oldest grandson after school so my daughter can work. then she has gone to college and has class one night a week so i wathc the boys for her so she can go to class. what better way to spoil (only slightly) them.

    A few days ago I joined the Board and I found this thread. I bought the Dear Jane book a few weeks ago and have made 4 blocks so far. I donīt have the software so I have to copy all blocks. Iīm also making the Sylvia Bridal Sampler, 40 blocks finished.

    where did i see someone post a picture of the orginal dear jane in a museum showing it's blue border? her daughter was bribed with andres mints to go see it with her?
